Dear Nana,

Merry late Christmas!  We have been so busy having so much fun that I just haven't had time to write to you.  Mom says I shouldn't be too concerned, though, because you've been in Bali.  So, how was your Christmas?  What did you do?  Ours was so great!  We went to Aunt Kathryn and Uncle Gene's house for Christmas Eve. Everyone had ham and potatoes, but I had a go-gurt.  Yum!  And we, of course, did the Nativity.  I was a little lamb.  Mom says I was the most adorable little lamb she's ever seen.  She made my costume, though, so I think she's a little bias.

After our Christmas Eve fun with the family we went home and we each got to open our special Christmas Eve present.  It was new jammies....surprise, surprise!  Mom and Daddy let me sleep in the bed with them and I did a pretty good job.  I woke up a few times, but that was just because I was so excited for Christmas morning to come.  Finally it did and we got to open presents!  I was so happy.  Of course I had to taste each of my presents....just to be on the safe side.
What a great Christmas, huh Nana?  I'm still trying to figure out my sippy cups, but I sure feel like a big boy when I get water out.  I love you Nana!   I hope we can spend next Christmas with you!

Dear Nana,

Merry Christmas Eve!!!  I can't believe it's already here!  I am SOO excited.  The only way Christmas could get any better is if you and Papa were with me.  Mom says you're having a great time in Bali, though.  Tell Uncle David, Aunt Mandy, and Auntie Laura that the turtles are alive and happy.  They don't seem to be too interested in eating, though.  Mom thinks they miss their real parents.  Mom also says she'd be quite happy if I never went through a reptile/insect/amphibian catching phase.  I guess we'll see.  For now I'll just count down the hours until Christmas morning when I can really rip open my presents!!

Dear Nana,

Today was a special Sunday so Mom let me wear my special Sunday suit jacket.  She says I was lookin' so handsome.  It was the perfect outfit for the Christmas program during Sacrament meeting.  Mom says the only downside is that you practically need a shoe horn to get my Sunday shoes on.  How do you think I look, Nana?

Dear Nana,

As I'm sure you know, Daddy has been gone all week.  He comes home tomorrow and I CAN'T WAIT!  I think Mom might be more excited than I am, though.  She says I've been a little extra high maintenance for her.  I've been trying to help her though, Nana.  Really, I have.  Anyway, one of the first nights Daddy was gone we had a terrible thunder storm.  It was raining so hard, and there was thunder (duh!) and lightening.  And the wind kept making scary noises outside.  I wasn't sleeping very well (big surprise, says Mom), so Mom let me sleep with her.  And guess who else she let sleep with us?!  That's right...Baxter!!  It made me so happy to wake up with the little Smack Smack in the bed with me.  He is becoming my best friend.  I think he's even starting to like me a little bit.  The other day he slept under my crib while I took a nap.  Pretty funny, huh?

Dear  Nana,

Daddy is gone for a week again!  Mom says that this is his last big trip until May.  Thank goodness!  It's not so bad this time because Mom has lots of stuff for us to do.  She's mapped out something for us to do each day so we don't get too bored.  Today we went out to lunch with Nana, Aunt Shelby, Aunt Suzie, Aunt Carmen and Cousin Parker.  We were celebrating Aunt Shelby's birthday.  It was so fun!  Mom even let me suck on a french fry, but I didn't like it very much.  Mom says there will come a day when I won't be able to get enough french fries.  We'll see about that.  Anyway, I got to sit in a big high chair for the first time!  I felt like such a big boy.  Can we go to a restaurant when you're back in town, Nana?  I would sure love to.

Sorry the picture is so blurry.  Mom took it with her phone.

Dear Nana,

I am STILL teething!  It is taking forever for my little teeth to come in.  Mom keeps me tanked up with Baby Tylenol every 4 hours most days, but sometimes I'm still very uncomfortable.  On those days Mom just lets me chew on anything that seems to keep me happy.

Dear Nana,

In answer to your question, yes, I am most definitely trying to cut teeth.  In fact, I've been miserable today because of it!  Mom and I both hope that the teeth pop out soon.  We'll keep you posted.  So guess what happened yesterday?  I pooped my guts out!  I had poop all the way up to my neck and out to my elbows.  Haha.  So funny, huh?  Mom didn't think so.  She was practically dry heaving while she peeled my poopy onesie off me.  By the time she got it off she had poop up her her elbows!  Anyway, the best part of it is that I got to take a bath...in the kitchen sink!  It's the perfect size for me and Mom doesn't have to hurt her back.  If I'm lucky I'll be able to take all my baths in their from now on (until I get too big, of course).

Dear Nana,

Big change of plans.  Daddy got pneumonia so we just couldn't finish our trip to see Aunt Maren.  Daddy needs to get lots of rest so he will feel better.  So, instead we left the hotel this morning and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Forsberg's house!  I am so happy!!  We'll probably stay here for a few days so Daddy (and, if she'll take advantage of it, Mom) can rest while I play with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Kalen.  I'm not sure what we'll do, but I know it'll be lots of fun.  Baxter is really going to be jealous when he finds out.

Guess what else?  Mom bought a few raffle tickets a couple months ago to support Aunt Kalen's flag team at the High School and she won the big prize!  It's a nice digital camera and we just got it today.  Mom had to test it out, so, of course, I had to be her model.  I'm sure she'll be taking even more pictures of me from now on...if that's even possible.

I love you Nana!

P.S. Check out my drooly shirt.  Amazing, huh?
